i'm wondering if anyone has ever tried to pry open their DVD drive on their tower.. mine won't open and i'm trying to burn a CD..

but prying it open doesn't sound like a very good idea

Look for a little pinhole by the drive bay. A lot of CD/DVD players have a power-off eject that can be triggered with a pin or paper clip.
