Im wondering what the exit plan consists of so far

In addition to that, sorting out a place to stay (have a short-term solution to this) in DC as well as trying to have some semi-firm meetings planned out for whenever I get there.
Mid-July seems a reasonable departure time...possibly earlier if something comes up that warrants me being in DC sooner...

I'm noting that I have 3 bags..
For basic day trips, I'm using that Crumpler 6million
For trips where I'm lugging a little bit more and want to carry multiple lenses, I'm using a Lowepro 300 bag..
For hauling everything (including laptop) when travelling, I use a Thinktankphoto Streetwalker HD. <--this bags holds everything and then some...
I like the Crumpler 6million.. at least the initial impression is good.. just wish it was a TAD bit smaller.. unfortunately, the battery grip on the D200 makes it a bit too tall for the 5million. The 6 million is long enough to carry a 70-200 f2.8 and my camera and still have a little bit of room..
There are tons of options out there..you just need to find what works best.. some people like the sling type bag, others, like the side bag (aka: manpurse
) and others like the backpack style.. when I'm walking long distance, I prefer the backpack style.
Just my $.02.. swing over to b and h.. they have every camera bag option in the world there (ecept for thinktankphoto for some reason
)

I'm telling you I'm trying to determine what I need to complete here with regards to my house (repairs/sale/renting/etc), as well as ensuring that everything I or Robyn own is off the property and what to do about the bulk of my stuff (admittedly not much) until I have a place to ship it back East. Also, deciding whether to fly out or drive.

not sure if this helps any but if you need a place to store thing in the interim, let me know... small stuff, store here, big stuff, I have a place that, short of a house, you can store.... if you need stuff delivered, a close family friend (who I refer to as "dad") owns a moving company.
That said, if I DO drive, would be nice to stop by for at least an overnight visit...
