I'm reasonably happy with my current gig, but it's contract and I'd much rather have a full-time gig. There is a chance I might get a job here, but there are currently no openings.

I got a call from a recruiter yesterday about a really good full-time gig. She is going to submit my resume and see if they want to move forward with interviews.

I'm debating the pros / cons of staying where I am if they do offer me that other job.

I'm pleased that I have a job, and more pleased that I enjoy it

I'm going to get too far ahead of myself. I haven't even had an interview for the other job yet.

I'm saying I was supposed to have an interview this week, but it didn't pan out. The guy flaked on me...

I'm wondering what the name of your favorite place is?

I'm telling you it's called Ripple and it's up in Cleveland Park. Excellent food, the charcuterie and cheese are to die for (and the charcuterie girl is, too). Wine selection is quite diverse and excellent quality. Beer selection is small, but quality. Mixed drinks are creative and tasty...the John Darby being one of my favorites.

It's the kind of place that could easily be pretentious...but isn't. You're always welcomed with a smile and the energy in the place is a good one...

I'm noting it sounds like a chill spot
