I'm saying I liked their music but was not thrilled with Stipes politics. When I go to a concert play the damn music don't lecture me about politics.

I'm pretty sure I did. The thing is, with older stuff (like Hendrix), I got all the vocals. Newer stuff that would be multi-layered (know what I mean? music terms aren't my thing lol) was the stuff that I'd only get background vocals or no vocals at all.

I'm saying you really shouldn't have that problem on an Iphone unless it's the headphones themselves. My Ipod is my wifes old Iphone 3g. She uses her new 4 w/o a problem too
