I'm wondering why someone would leave the light on in a bathroom, close the door and walk away.

I'm thinking if the fan is on the same circuit as the light, then you may want to leave the fan running, close the door, then run away.

I'm noting that the switch for the fan is actually right above the toilet, with the light switch outside the bathroom.
