I'm in that boat. We have the full beans Comcast bundle, plus 4 or 5 streaming services. There's *some* overlap but not enough. Every time I look at what we can get rid of, there's some show that one of us watches that requires us to keep it all.

I'm thinking about switching to fiber, and then paying for Google TV plus the current array of streaming services M uses (Apple, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon)... probably won't save much money but it'd be nice to turn off Comcrap for good.

I'm saying we switched to fiber at work from comcast to frontier, comcast was more reliable and dare I say quicker. I'm regretting switching. Comcast wasn't cheap, but it worked well.

I'm not a fan of where country music is at these days, but enjoyed seeing them perform. Still blows my mind how people were losing their shit over a (white male) country singer covering that song. It was obvious he really admires her and was basically in fanboy mode being on stage with her. Pretty cool.

Also liked Annie Lennox honoring Sinead.

I'm looking at advertised speeds and Comcast is at 1000 (or 1200) and Lumen fiber is at 940. Honestly very few websites can keep up with those speeds, and streaming 4k only requires 40-50. The main technical thing about fiber that is better is that it generally has lower latency and a lot less float, which I've noticed to be somewhat problematic for certain types of gaming. My comcast connection has terrible latency at times and it makes competitive gaming near impossible (on top of my general lack of ability).

That, and I really don't like comcast, or the $240 bill I get from them every month. Fiber + Youtube TV would save me something like $50-75/mo.

I'm saying we never saw those kind of speeds with either at the office, comcast was usually in the low 500 range. Frontier is running at 300 right now. At home I usually see 4-500 consistently.

I'm not a huge fan of comcast either, but I'm less of a fan of frontier.

I’m watching and rewatching the Tracy Chapman/ Luke Combs duet of ‘Fast Car’.

It’s a great collaboration of 2 different people coming together to sing a song (black lesbian/ white country singer) and making a fantastic moment.

This is a perfect example of love & respect between 2 artists who respect each other.
