I'm noting that I tried to call off my shift tonight and no one picked up called again and no one now knows the call-off process Now I'm waiting to call the boss's cell. I don't want to call her too early... Ugh.

 

I'm going to see an employee doctor tomorrow to see if I have the flu and maybe get a note. At my hospital, if you got a flu shot AND you get the flu, then the sick day doesn't count against you. I've been sweating like crazy, and chilling like crazy too. Bleh.

 

I'm noting that I'm about to hit 5K!

 

I'm sore from shoveling snow.

 

I'm saying Boston got lucky with it. Only had 3 inches on the ground, pre-salted my driveway which made it quick work to get the snow off the driveway.

 

I'm thinking that I should have shoveled some on Saturday night instead of waiting until Sunday.

I'm noting this created havoc for us on Boxing Day. And since we're unionized, and 2 people didn't get called for shifts they were eligible for, we had to pay them both...stat holiday pay for 12 hour shifts.

 

I'm thinking that sounds like a mess!!

 

I'm saying that I am home from visiting the doctor at my work (for free!! ), and I was told that I made the right decision to call off my shift for last night Annnnnnnd I was given a note to give to my boss saying I can't work tonight. Basically, they don't want me around other sick people
