I'm observing that NASCAR made that choice for him.

I'm not really sure how anyone could defend it... heat of the moment, thought it was private... all make it arguably worse as that would imply he's fundamentally a person who thinks that way. Really sad.

I'm in agreement. I'm actually surprised by the number of people defending him. Chalk it up to people with too much time on their hands.
While I hope he rebounds and someday returns, his actions are still inexcusable and for people to try to justify his actions is ridiculous.

I’m noting the timing of his racist comment is interesting - last night I watched “Uppity” on Netflix. (Recommended!) Reminded me that things may have changed in terms of laws and policies...but you can’t legislate people’s opinions.

I'm saying that I just checked it out. I am assuming this is your former car. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...mondial-3-2-4/

I'm saying that's my old girl. It's kind of a shame all the damage to it was caused by the guy that bought it from me, not the guy selling it now. Car didn't have a scratch on it anywhere when I had it and it's all original paint from 1986.
The wheels weren't marked up and the engine bay was spotless. The guy who had it before me used to show it in events that rate the cars for originality and that car got 98 points many times.

I'm saying if you mean blizzard of 78 I sure do. I remember going to stop and shop with my mom and dad and sister pulling a sled to carry the groceries on.

I'm saying do you remember when Cianci had the police riding on the garbage trucks with shotguns during the strike so the garbagemen could get through the picket lines.
