I'm in need of some kind of Con, but going to have to be good with a trip to Ontario and Chicago

 

I'm adding that a Camaro (coupe) was part of the experience for this trip too...

Reserve a: Boxster
First thing their guy asked "so you have a minivan reserved?"
Second thing their guy had for us was a Camaro SS, NOT a convertible, and not the same thing (he didn't understand why we wouldn't want a coupe with horrible visibility and comfort for a 4 day road trip)
I countered with a Mustang convertible, to which he wanted to charge us twice as much vs the Boxster
The manager offered a Mustang GT convertible at the Boxster rate
Then someone found the Boxster keys
Same someone could not find the actual car though
Back to the Mustang GT
Finish paperwork, then someone found the Boxster, but it was dirty
Left with the Mustang GT


I wouldn't say I hated that Camaro that Les and I had... it was just a really mediocre car. At least without the roof you could see out of it.

 

I'm letting D8 know the snow has shown up in Seattle. Take it back!
