Supposedly flat-panel LCD is the future (right combination of form and cost).
DLP-RPTV is a little better than LCD-RPTV (although some will argue). However, DLP is more expensive than LCD.

...but it requires the right lighting conditions.The digital displays (DLP and LCD) can be used as computer monitors too.
