Now, are you sure it is a lost cause??? Is there not anyway to recover, contact authorities or even a lawyer?

 

I'm saying unfortunately this is on me....I put my trust and faith in the wrong individual...red flags were there...I'm smarter than this...and now I have no idea what this individual is capable off...so I think were gonna walk away..a tad bit smarter and poorer

 

I'm admitting that we have all had this circumstance.

Sometimes for more than $500, sometimes for less depending on the person.
