I'm telling Mikey the best thing to do would be to not paddle. Sharks sense the splashing and view it as a wounded animal - easy target. Sitting still is your best bet.

I'm in agreeance...I did know this...but somehow if in the presence of a giant Mako (a 660# er 11 feet, was just caught toff of Cape May, NJ.) I think I would be paddling...instinct takes over and it is usually the wrong one!

I'm wondering what is going on in the canyon right behind my house. There is a Life Flight Helicopter, Sherriff's, police K-9 units, police on 4-wheelers, news crews, ambulances, firetrucks, etc. all parked a few hundred feet from my house!
