I'm in need of an accountant....freight on drop shipments..freight in or freight out ...
I'm not an accountant eventhough work thinks I am. I'm thinking "freight in" is for inventory, "freight out" is for sales.

I'm thinking you are correct....but herein lies the quandary.... When we receive something here/ then ship something to someone from our location its clearly "freight in" for the incoming freight.... and " freight out" for the outgoing UPS charges to the customer....

What happens when a Manufacture ships something direct from their factory (drop-ship) for us to a customer is the freight charge freight in or freight out
