I'm trying to decide whether to buy an older Yamaha Seca II from a friend of mine. Needs some work, but he's offered to sell it for about $800 and I even think he'll help me do the work (clean out the tank and rebuild the carbs).

I'm glad I went with the Dodge, the Duramax has issues, and the Powerstrokes are ugly and noisy. The Cummins was quiet, 610 lb. ft torque, and better styling IMO.

Noisy as they are, I like the Super Duty's, but the Dodge is probably a better ride for your purposes.
