On a disturbing note...... after our friends left Jo Jo was staring at the cat door to the basement like WTF???? So I foolishly opened the big door to see Rex with a BIG RAT in his mouth
I shut the door and yelled for CHRIS to come help!!!! Of course he had already gone to bed, seeing as dishes needed washing and such. I got him up and Rex had brought the rat into the diningroom and dropped it for a nice display. Chris helped catch the rat and I wrapped it up and shuddered all the way to the garbage
So yes, we have a rat invasion here
I hired Todd - a professional exterminator on Tuesday to get rid of the invasion and plug the holes. So far the cats have caught 3 rats for free and Todd has 0 catches for $360. I'm sure he'll get the rest tho.

I'm wondering if I'm going to see my luggage before I go back to the airport on Monday night. For the vast majority of today they didn't know where the bag was. Once they found it they delivered it, but since we weren't home they took it back to the airport. 
They DID call, though, but we missed it and THEY DIDN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!
When I called the number back the guy said he didn't leave it because he needed a signature OR WE COULD HAVE LEFT A NOTE?!?!?! I wanted to ask (but didn't) how, exactly, a note was anything like a signature? I mean, since they don't have my signature on file couldn't he just leave the bag and forge a
ing note on the way back to the airport?! Oh well...maybe I'll get lucky and get my bag tomorrow sometime...
Other than that, Detroit sucks as much as I remember...
