I'm saying I have a hard time getting into the new year thing... last year was great because the company I was in (luke, brant, gina, nancy, et al) but as holidays go, it's stupid... Mitch and Les went to a bar/club here... $25 just to get in ($3-4 cover at max normally), and you don't really get anything for that $25... Triple police patrols, lots of amateur drinkers, etc... ugh. Of course the fact that I'm sitting here alone isn't much better.
