I'm also adding that riding the bus reinforces almost every negative stereotype that exists about the poor, rednecks, and blacks.

I'm pretty sure a week on the bus would make your head explode.

Hell, just my 17 minute ride to Pioneer square on Friday would have been enough. Major ROFLs.

I'm adding that yes, there are frequently drunks on my 6:02 AM bus ride into downtown Seattle.
I'm guessing you are frequently one of them.

I'm noting I have to switch buses... If one bus is a few minutes late, getting to the 2nd one becomes a crap shoot. My morning commute has a 3-4 minute window of lateness, so all it takes is one drunk idiot or cripple to screw that up and turn my 55 minute commute into 70 minutes.
I'm sympathetic to your plight. I take a train to a subway, to another subway and if any one of them is delayed or late the whole timing is f'ed up.

I'm saying my dad sometimes still takes the bus from Woodinvilled to either UW Medical Center or downtown and he almost got into a fight with some drunk guy that was cursing and threatening a fellow passenger. Mind you my dad was 75 at the time and the bus driver and fellow passengers did nothing. Dad, suck it up and drive.
