I'm thinking a fisheye and a 200-400VR are about all I have any interest in.
17-55, 70-200.
10.5 fisheye

My 3 lenses I'd like to get

I'm doubting I'd ever use the 70-200, at least not enough to justify buying it.

Really? In Montreal, that was the lens I used the most at the track... of course, I wish I had a better venue to shoot from though... at Mid Ohio, I used my 18-200VR lens but the pictures were just ok.. not really "tack-sharp"...

Obviously, I'm not sure what the benefit of taking all these photos will ever be (other than clogging my HD with 9 kazillion photos), but I would like to shoot better photos...

Do you shoot any sports photos?

I took some at the LeMons race but there was only two good places to take pictures from, and the 18-200 had no troubles with cars moving 45 MPH. Otherwise, I'm usually playing, not taking pictures.

I'm commenting that it's funny that you mention your mom's b-day...Robyn's presently at a b-day party for MY mom (though her actual b-day is Friday).
