I'm suggesting you use your thumb to apply pressure to the bone above your eye (just below your eyebrow, on the side where the pain is). Start close to your nose and follow the bone towards your ear (make sense?). I've found this sometimes at least alleviates some pain.

I'm telling you that I get headaches for every reason imaginable: weather changes, dehydration, lack of/too much sleep, not enough food, back pain turning into headache pain, stress, sinus issues - you name it. Over the years I've tried to find other methods to get rid of the headaches before taking a pill.

I'm pretty sure that could be part of it. I also sometimes get headaches from going in and out of air conditioned buildings repeatedly in a day.
