I'm noting it's crept into your chest.
I'm agreeing with Dr. Anderson with a question:

Is the cough productive or just dry and hacking?

If it's productive then I'd recommend a cough syrup with an expectorant and codeine to help you sleep.

If it's dry and hacking then you don't need the expectorant but the codeine will still help you sleep.

Or just make yourself a hot toddy and call it a night.

I'm noting a rapid increase in sinus pressure and am planning on drugging myself.

I'm just seeing this now and noting it's not a productive cough. What's far more annoying is the sinus - sneezing all day, runny nose and now this intense pressure. Feels like my head is gonna explode.

Tylenol or toddys?

If it's the former just swallow them with water and get over it.

If it's the latter just add a little more honey and rest assured none of the rest of us are really fond of it as a cocktail either.
