I'm more annoyed with people who seem to think that having an opinion means not concerning themselves with other perspectives. I don't necessarily want anyone to agree with me (in fact, I like to be challenged to think of things in different ways), but show me that you've looked at the issue from different angles.

I'm telling you I've found that the best way to get some people to think in different ways is to start by finding ways to agree...then pulling them slowly to some tangential way of seeing the same thing. People are often leery of leaving their comfort zone...
