I'm sayin... doesn't have to be COASTAL... more the devil may care... disheveled look... a real Fock it, I don't care attitude kind of look.

 

I'm saying I'd lean towards black... but white does have it's positives.

 

I would shy away from white felt... unless you are a neat freak... they get dirty real fast... I say something like this straw hat

 

I'm not a neat freak... and most of my clothes are dark solids... so I'd think a black felt hat would work.

 

Black felt is REAL COWBOY DRESSED UP!

Straw is very fashionable these days and casual.

Just make sure you get your hat professional "shaped"... they have steamers where you buy them... you don't want a lopsided hat!

 

I think the real key is just wearing it every day for a year... the 'worn' look is the best.

 

I'm noting the reason I don't shop for clothes alone is that I have no clue what's kosher and what isn't... I rely on chicks to tell me what'll look good on me

 

I'm tellin you... you can buy them to look that way!

 

I'm thinking I should have done more shopping when I was in texas...
