I'm thinking that most people are looking at it emotionally rather than rationally, and that Bush will get most of the blame, mainly as a consequence of his international policy. Katrina is just a wasy for people to express that, because now, for the first time, it's perceived to be affecting them.

Why, when something happens, natural or man made, do both sides immediately start pointing fingers at each other and say "it's all YOUR fault that X happened" instead of working together to fucking fixing the problem first, then trying to see who's at fault (if fault can be blamed on EITHER side of the fence) ?
