I'm saying I miss the DOS 6 era. 580K of high memory, 605 with a boot disk tops, really forced programmers to write good code. Windows 95, and more so 98, really allowed programmers to just throw shit together and market it. It just boggles the mind how WMP can be 30 megs when it's functionality is less than or equal to several programs whose entire install is less than 2 megs.
