off to play games with the Navy for a few weeks

I'm still awake.

 

I'm taking a new job as master of a support vessel for the Navy .. there is no money in Science (Oceanography) right now. so I'm ing myself out to another tentacle of the government. We're doing some science , some R&D and some stuff I can't talk about.

 

I'm thinking that sounds interesting Captain!

 

I'm hoping they don't send you on a submarine after my navy friend was telling me about the sleeping quarters...

 

I'm not going on a submarine, though I spent the past 11 years carrying one around on the back of my ship.
