I'm just not sure. A lot of people are bothered by the lack of sheet metal on a bike relative to a car, but this has never been a concern for me. I'm just trying to decide which would be more fun/get more use if I owned it...

i'm thinking the bike. you've been big on pedal bikes for awhile now. a crotch rocket will be something new that will take a looong time to get tired of

i'm thinking that's an awful big frame... i'm also wondering what you'll be doing with the hardware cuz my hardtail could use some new shifters

I'm not sure what I'll do with the shifters if I do the single speed conversion. It's an XT rear deraileur (7 speed), but the throw should be adjustable to make 8 speed...should.

I'm wondering whether you mean on a motorcycle or in a car. In a car...definitely. That's why I have the Miata (no plans to get rid of it anytime soon). On a motorcycle...no plans of that nature at the moment, though I might consider a riding course on a track to help me learn to ride better...
