I'm saying YES! We have 3 huge heating/ac units mounted rooftop here. 2 of them went bad last winter...we had no lease (expired, we were month -to month) so we had no negotiation power. ...begrudgingly (to re-sign a long term lease) we made the decision to pay for half of the replacement bill to the tune of $7K

.....this time is a bit different..we have a long term lease now and heater #3 is now junk! (13 year old outside roof mounted heaters only last 12-15 years, its 13 years old with a bad burner motor) ...the slumlord (as always) refuses to spend a nickel on their building....this time we ARE NOT making capital improvements on their building!

 

I'm debating going out in the cold to ship a package just so I can spend more money.

 

I'm calling it a day.

I'm slacking before going to work on overtime, just to sit on my ass and get paid handsomely by the county.

I'm glad I now have a better government job.

 

I'm now refusing to take directly to our slumlord (not a good situation, I realize) but really have no option.
