I'm surfing for options for replacing the French doors down in my living room. I'm hoping to find some option that would allow me to reuse the historic glass from the existing doors...

I'm telling you that I can get the same opening size from a properly designed French door without having to argue with the preservation review board if I stay with the existing style...

I'm letting you know max width is 79" in most race car serie, so an 82" door opening will do just fine.

I'm wondering why not just have a carpenter make something and reuse the glass?
