It was originally an inboard out board. When it was converted to an outboard only the propeller shaft hole was sealed improperly. Over time it rotted and finally it started letting water in. Over the course of one night the boat sank. The boat was never totally submerged for about 12 hours. Currently it is in a dry dock, ready for pick up and restoration.
