I'm hoping everyone is enjoying utopia right now, now that apparently the Dems are in the majority.

Everyone get a larger paycheck, enjoying universal healthcare, all our troops are home from Iraq, Ted Kennedy is clean & sober, gas prices under $1 a gallon, perfect haircuts, perfect crease in our pants, Nancy Peloisi (spelling) as Penthouse Pet of the Month, etc etc./

I'm hoping that you aren't truly that extreme. It's like improving our grade from F- to D-... there's a lot more work to do. Jettisoning failures from power is one of many many steps toward improvement.

God forbid there be some checks and balances in gov't for the first time in more than half a decade.

Dems certainly aren't the solution, if all they're doing is Bush-bashing. I hope they get their act together, find a leader and actually achieve something by coming up with solutions.
