just was wondering if a "storage/archive/backup HD" can also double as an additional hard drive as well (And carry dual purposes)
I'm saying this day and age. . . you buy two identical drives and run RAID across them. If you need a bigger HDD to carry with the laptop. . . then just use it as a temp space. . . and then move your files into the RAID'd system.
