I'm reporting that the Superdrive locks up the whole computer when I try to put any kind of disk in it (including pre-recorded music CDs.)

Also the video card does not work with my mac monitor (but works with my VGA monitor from my PC.)

I'm a little dissapointed as I bought the mac to do video editing of track footage, and I have not been able to use it at all.

Hmmmmmm sounds like possibly bad RAM maybe? Do you have a dongle convertor for the video card?
