When I lived in the desert we had Hawaiian Shave Ice stands ( fancy name 4 a snocone )
those lil places made good $$$ there!

shaved ice is pretty much like our snowballs here. They have a shitload more flavors than snowcones.....and they put marshmallow on them if you want

 

btw, record day in Baltimore today...104 degrees at BWI!!!

yeah my 's got hooked on that shtuff in the desert and after moving to the rainy place they to sell it here stead 0 Kool-Aid good move when we had those warm few days $$$

think we may peak at 80 or above in the next few days

 

I haven't had a sno cone in years, maybe since post Little League games.

 

I'm craving a root beer snowball with marshmallow (in the middle) real bad

It's a rootbeer type of syrup that they poor over the shaved ice. They fill half a cup with ice a little syrup put the gooey marshmallow in and then put more ice in along with more syrup. (you can also just get marshmallow on top so then it's all ice, syrup with the goo ontop)
