Mr. Anderson finished a nom on a bagel at work.

 

John ate a hamburger, but is still hungry...

 

Cheryl's friend just found out where her friend is being posted and does not envy her, even though it could be worse.

 

John is confused by the above statement.

 

Cheryl is commented that her friend is in the military and has just been told where she'll be shipped off to for her first posting. Does that make more sense?

 

Cheryl is mixing up her tenses.

 

John is less confused.

 

Mr. Ray is home from work and no longer concerning himself with stupid misbehaving software stuff (he put the onus on the vendor's support staff ). He is now ing, drinking his second Tanq martini, updating his Garmin Nuvi 660 maps, and preparing to grill a nice piece of wild caught sockeye salmon.

It may sound like multitasking but it's not. By the time this drink is gone single tasking may prove somewhat problematical.

 

Mr. Anderson is counting down until 4:30 - when scotch hour begins.
