Turned out it was a good thing because our United flight had a stop in Denver and due to the delay we would have missed our connection. That plus there were major delays in/out of Denver. The Alaska flight was nonstop so we missed all of that crap. Very bumpy flight the whole way home. Bad news is that we probably would have seen Mocky at the United Club in Denver as his flight from there was delayed as well.

Yeah I remember those storms, my friends in Woodinville have a generator but they are on 5 acres

My parents have one but it isn't ones that goes on automatically when the power goes off. He changed the way it was hooked up shortly before he died so we aren't sure which set of instructions are the correct ones so my mom won't let me start it up. That plus the fact she doesn't want to have to go outside and add gas etc.
