You'll be able to see it, but you'll probably get a better view of Mt. Baker.

Based on the wind forecast, you'll be flying over Rainier and hooking up. The only way you'd fly over MSH is if you were coming from Denver or DFW.

Thankfully I'm on a non-stop flight from Newark. I did the Islip to Detroit to Houston to Seattle one time because it was $125 roundtrip vs $350 RT. About Houston the savings weren't worth it anymore.

Me too but the price was just to tempting to pass up. Usually if it is possible nonstop or nothing. Virgin America has had some pretty good fares lately and I've heard that they are like a "hip" Jet Blue, but to get to Seattle from New York you go through either San Francisco or LA.
