By the way, the river peaked at 60,000 cubic feet per second, not 60 feet. It's normally between 3000 and 6000 cfs.

That's HUGE.

BTW... if I'm not mistaken that falls was created in the mother-of-all floods. When a glacier blocked water flow in the ice age it created Lake Missoula. The ice dam eventually broke and Lake Missoula poured across to the west.
