Just got back from a "weekend" in DC... had a great time! It was first time, so I popped my Capital Hill Cherry! I got to see the Exorcist Stairs in Georgetown... I got to see the WhiteHouse, Washington Monument, Lincoln Monument, etc... really cool time!
My drive home sucked miserably! I left there at 9:00am... the front desk guy at the hotel was a complete and utter moron... I was trying to get my car from the Valet and it seemed that there was no one available to get my car. So I told the dude, just give me the keys and I'll got get it. I finally get my car... then realize that I threw my directions away and have no idea how to get home. I'm tooling around... figuring... something should look familiar. I end up downtown by the Washington Monument... NOT where I wanted to be! A nice lady gave me directions... she meant well, but directed me incorrectly. So I ended up on the loop and went completely around DC. I finally found I95 N... It seemed that every single time I was cookin along at 90-95mph.. there would be a cop. I missed the turn off for the NJ Turnpike, so I went through Philly... not the shortest distance between two points, I'll tell you that much.
Finally got home around 1:30...
Oh, and, I left my cell phone charger and sunglasses in DC...
