On Wednesday, June 28, 2006, the opening event for US Grand Prix and Grand Week Events will feature a car procession around Monument Circle. This will be followed with an F-1 and Concours Car Display on the west half of Monument Circle. Monument Circle will be closed from 11 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The west half of Monument Circle will be closed from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

On Friday, June 30, 2006, Ferrari Club of America will sponsor the Gathering of Ferrari on the north half of Monument Circle. There will be approximately 60 - 100 cars on display. The event lasts from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and the north half of Monument Circle will be closed during this time.

On Saturday, July 1, 2006, Indianapolis Concours will host a classic and antique car show on Monument Circle and all spokes. The event lasts from 1 p.m. until midnight. Monument Circle and all spokes will be closed from 6 a.m. until midnight. Meridian Street between Ohio Street and Michigan Street will also be closed during this time, but cross streets will remain open.
