all...minus the er. Hope everyone's having a good weekend. I get my staples out tomorrow. Oh and get this...so I went to the clinic on Friday for 'wound care' and told them that my nurse had told me someone would come to the house to take out my staples. Given that I had come to the clinic that day, I asked if I would need to come to the clinic for the staple removal. The nurse asked what the doctor's orders were and I told her it was for the 10th. She said I had to bring the paperwork that stated the doctor's orders, or they couldn't do it. The thing is, the paperwork came from THEM.

 

You asked for staple removal, not staple removal from competent people.

In the US, they'd lose the paperwork and charge you for both visits.

 

 

Hmm okay, well I guess I should be grateful then. Appointment is in 12 hours. So why am I more nervous about the staple removal than I was about the surgery?
