An '03 at $23k is a complete ripoff. The invoice on an '03 was $25500. I guess people still think the VIII was a good car.

'03 was the first year, douche. All the people who wanted 7s (a better looking Evo, IMO) ran out and overpaid on the first batch of 8s. '04 was the volume year for the VIII.

Don't see an Evo in my future.

Haven't driven one yet... sat in one at NAIAS and wasn't super impressed by it.

No. I can't even find one within 100 miles of me. The closest is in Dayton, OH... and they conveniently don't list the price so I'm guessing they'll want a "premium".
