I know what you mean about money being tight...I'm still not completely sure if I'm going, because it's going to be expensive, especially without a +1 to split gas/hotel...

I assume the potential move is work related? Would you have to move far? Further from or closer to the 49th parallel?

I figured it was going to cost around $750, by the time hotel/food/gas etc was added up. Right now, I have better use of that money. And this way, WTD06 is more of a definite that it was a few weeks ago. I wasnt really that sure if I had the funds to do both.

Moving apartments. Closer to work

Fortunately I have a bit of USD left - which makes it a bit easier. Why I don't open up a US funds account is beyond me!

Moving closer to work could be a good thing!

Less than 3 miles compared to my 15 mile one way drive every day.

50kms one way for me, but because of my job I like it that way. Next job will be different.
