A former co-worker in the consulting world developed a little stopwatch app and gave it to all his buddies... it just calculated your hourly bill rate (for most of these guys, 75-150/hr) and multiplied by the time after you started/stopped.

they used it to calculate how much money the company made every time they took a crap.
