I'm saying that there is a difference between being into politics and being aware of the impact that it has in every aspect of our lives.

If nothing else, I hope that all those that aren't political junkies (I'm not THAT bad) at least get out and vote. I don't even care WHO they vote for...but being engaged in the process is an important step.

I'm agreeing with Brant and at the same time I'm confessing that despite being eligible to vote in the last two presidential elections, I didn't. I'm not really into politics either, but I do plan on voting in November as I'm not satisfied with "G.W."

I'm saying none of us has a perfect voting record, so that's not the issue. I just want to see people get out and vote. It's sad that only roughly half the people in this country that CAN vote DO vote...

Seems to me that anytime we choose not to participate in the system we have no right to bitch when it doesn't work out the way we want.

I'm still not used to this California heat, it's in the mid 80's and is expected to peak in the low 90's today.

I'm saying I know a number of military that don't vote in Presidential elections for a variety of reasons...one of the most common is that they feel that it is their job to follow the direction of the President and they don't want to be conflicted if the President isn't someone they chose.

I'm saying the reason why I didn't vote in the 96' elections was because I was in Navy Basic Training. My mom sent me an absentee ballot but I never got around to submitting it. Had too many things going on. As far as the 00' election, I don't recall why I didn't vote.

I'm saying that the biggest reason why I'm voting against Bush is partially due to his foriegn policy and military issues, but mostly because of his stance on social issues. He's to conservative for my blood.
