Asssssbury Park is kind of sketchy (at least it used to be) but you could always go to Sleazeside, Belmar or Point Pleasant for some major Joisey shore hos.

 

I used to stay in Point Pleasant when I did consulting jobs with a Lakehurst firm. I never was much into soft shelled crab. I once had dinner at a restaurant there and overheard a Mafia hit being planned. I tried to keep my head down.
