Thanks to Gina for keeping us abreast of this event with Dave, sorry to hear of the loss, I enjoyed my interactions with Dave though I know very little about him and I have never met him. I know he has joined his mother and is in a better place, I recall the loss of his mother was very hard on him. May he RIP.

I posted my favourite poem in the other thread, but here it is below:

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!)

^ by Mary Elizabeth Frye. Written in the 1930s. A very nice poem at times like these.

Yup, you introduced it to me. I used it at my sister's funeral, as part of the funeral cards. It has become my favourite by far. thank you.
