should daylight savings time be abolished?
110 mph in the Miata is definitely something you realize you're doing. That car is NOT quiet at that speed and it requires your FULL attention. Thankfully it was a pretty clear and very straight road...
I am happy to say that no matter the weather this weekend...from sun to pouring rain...the top was not even up once!
It was DEFINITELY cold and damp going over the pass both times, though...

I bet. I only remember from when I was young, but to me.... snoqualmie=snow..... I have a distinct memory of, get this, being in the truck (4x4) with my dad, driving up some twisty road in the snow behind a fully loaded logging truck

I can confirm the fact that the maximum I have hit in the S is 112.5 ...... the JDM ones are limited to 180 kmh ....... which since the max speed limit here is 80 kmh (50 mph !!!!
) is, I guess, as fast as you need .......It is a strange feeling though when you are chasing someone in another S and all of a sudden the fuel supply to the engine is cut !!!!
- yup, that's the 180kmh limiter !!!!
I think I have only hit the rev limiter a couple of times ..... I can usually get my shifts just around 9k and miss the limiter ..... this is a different feeling though when you hit the top speed ...... and more of a shock usually as well, since you are not really concentrating too hard on the speedo at that time !!
