Brant you should come over here if you like mud. We are starting to get seriously inendated with it. If I have time tomorrow I am going to dig the Trek out of cobwebs and tune it up.

I like the mud out here...nice and loamy with just the right amount of water to make a mess of everything...

My fork purchase that's necessary to get Astrid (my Scott Boulder MTB) out of mothballs has been delayed by the necessity of purchasing a helmet for autocross/track use.

Hopefully by the end of the summer she'll be back out on the trails.

We still have over 6 inches of snow on the trails but its supposed to be in the 70's for the next two days so its gonna be quite a mess out there.

I've managed to hurt myself a lot over the years riding in the snow. I need to do that some more...

Well, if you DON'T start riding more in the near future, just go ahead and ship the bike over to me...

Sweet ride, sir!

Thanks, I got a sweet deal on it a couple of years ago but haven't had the chance to get back into it this summer. Over the Easter break I'm hoping to start riding more consistantly. Roads here aren't too good for it though and it doesn't seem to transport well in the S.

I'm lucky that the roads around here are pretty good for riding. Seattle it a fairly bike-friendly city.

I'm going to strap my bike to the rollbar on the Miata if I have to take it anywhere...
