How are things going, James? I've been offline for a few days while watching my sis run the NYC marathon. Something like 40K people... Quite a feckin' herd!

Friends ran the marathon last year, they said it was great fun, looking back at it, but that it was hell at the time !!!

So did you spend a couple of days in NYC ?? My wife wants to go there to visit friends next year ....... have to wait to see how the holidays pan out for that

Actually, you guys wouldn't believe the NYC marathon. Streets are closed, bridges are closed. You're talking about 30,000-something runners. It's a total stampede for several hours.

I was blown away. My sis finished in just under 5 hours. It would've taken me days!

 

It took me almost that long to do a half marathon .....
