When I was playing Evercrack, I started an enchanter, and on a whim made a female one. I totally played the character; speaking and acting as a proto-typical dumb blonde might. You would not believe the shit people would do for my character - giving me stuff left and right, helping me level, going to far away shops to acquire stuff... All because they thought I was a chick! My friend Mark and I usually partied up, and we'd just sit there and rip on the people, who for what it's worth never gave his male character anything...

I actually stopped playing her after a month or so; I was disgusted by how many people would p-msg me and whatnot. I mean, really, for all they knew I could have been anything. Hell, I could have been an undercover looking for pedophiles or something (which would have been really ironic, given that my IP was pedophile.resnet.mtu.edu).

 

yeah, in our PA, we had one guy get jealous of a female player because she was hanging out with other guys, he left and said he couldn't talk to her anymore.... very creepy....
